Silverstone was opened as a World War Two airfield in 1943, near the leafy village of the same name. Once the war had ended in 1945 Britain was left with a number of redundant airfields but without a major race track Donington Park was still a military vehicle storage depot, Brooklands had been sold off, Crystal Palace was in a state of disrepair and Brands Hatch was still under-developed.

Of all the circuits in Britain, Brands Hatch is the one that exudes the most character. History seeps from every fibre of its being and, as a spectator venue, it is unsurpassed in what it can offer. The natural amphitheatre that is its 1.2 mile Indy configuration offers unparalleled views of the action, while its sensational Grand Prix circuit remains one of the biggest challenges in UK motor racing.

Opened in 1931, Donington Park is one of Britain's most popular racing circuits. It is the home of the British Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP) and also plays host to rounds of the British Touring Car Championship, British Formula 3 Championship, British GT Championship, Le Mans Series, and British Superbike Championship.

"Mallory Park" is situated in the rural countryside of Leicestershire and sited in the grounds of a 200 acre ancient estate once owned by the Noel family. The track itself lies within a natural basin making it an ideal viewing venue. Construction work first started in the 1940`s with the aim of creating a Pony Trotting track. Marsh ground was drained and a small strip of Kirkby Wood was cleared to accommodate the track, although the bulk of the mature trees were felled earlier under the instruction of the "War Agricultural committee" as a contribution towards the war effort.
